THE REFORMER — Changing the method rather than adding more effort.
Shaka Zulu, Zulu Kingdom — 1787–1828. Shaka transformed his army's weapons and tactics: the throwing spear gave way to a short stabbing spear to force close combat, troops trained for long marches barefoot, and a three-part formation was used — a centre that fixed the enemy, two enveloping wings and a reserve facing away from the engagement to remain composed.
This is the situation carried by the Shaka Zulu capsule from the CULTURE OF WAR collection: not a tribute, but a mirror. The piece bears the inscription “L'ENNEMI NE ME VOIT PAS VENIR. C'EST VOULU”, the capsule's motto.
Short-sleeve grappling rashguard with full purple sublimation print, patterned side panels and a portrait on the back. 240 g/m² technical fabric made from 92% polyester and 8% elastane, with four-way stretch, low-friction flat seams, silicone hem gripper and reinforced collar. The sublimated graphic is embedded in the fibres, so it will not peel, crack or lift in the wash. Close-fitting men’s cut for no-gi, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA. Check current IBJJF or CFJJB rules before competition use. Sizes S to 2XL.
