Inspired by the saga of the Ashigaru, the foot soldiers represented a crucial, though often overlooked, component within the armed forces of ancient Japan. Initially recruited as soldiers, these individuals had limited skills and lacked extensive military training. Their numerical contribution proved invaluable during conflicts such as the Mongol invasion.

Our designers aim to highlight and pay tribute to the Ashigaru, who fought alongside the samurai from the earliest hours of conflict, wielding a variety of weapons and armour. Made from microfiber fabric, these shorts stand out for their lightness, sweat resistance and quick drying. Entirely handmade in Thailand, they require hand washing in cold water followed by draining to ensure maximum longevity.

Thanks to its enhanced design, the shorts offer increased flexibility and optimal mobility, ensuring a highly comfortable fit.
