The Fightart full karate mitt is approved by the French Karate Federation for karate competitions. Its innovative design fully wraps the karateka’s fist, similar to a boxing glove, to maximise the practitioner’s level of protection.

This new version of the original karate mitt offers several advantages, including preventing potential time loss on the mat caused by fingers slipping out of the mitt, or injuries to either fighter due to exposed fingers. This mitt provides an added guarantee of safety.

The Fightart full protection remains lightweight and is made from durable, easy-to-maintain materials. The outer surface can be cleaned with a damp sponge; be sure to dry the protection thoroughly while avoiding direct contact with heat sources (radiators, etc.). The mitt fastens at the wrist with an elastic band for quick and easy adjustment.

The protection offers sufficient impact absorption for karate practice (excluding ‘contact karate’ and ‘kyokushinkai karate’ styles) and the entire mitt meets current European standards (CE certified).
